HOW NOT TO DIE OF COVID

Updated: Sep 27, 2023

--- DISLAIMER: THIS ARTICLE IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS, ADVICE & TREATMENT. ---

The suffering created around COVID is real. People are getting infected, spreading the infection, recovering, and dying too. If you are worried, just relax. There is no reason to worry at all. If not COVID, we always follow multiple ways to inflict suffering on ourself!

I think the chances of getting infected with COVID are very high even after following all preventive measures. Some of the reasons are:

- The virus easily spreads through exhaled air from infected person. Exposure to infected air can be reduced through mask. But this does not provide 100% protection. Mask is not our natural organ, so it will be impossible to be masked always. People don’t wear helmets even after knowing the hazards; similarly entire population can never be made to wear masks all the time.

- It is impossible to follow preventive measures by all the people, all the time.

- The virus is passed from infected person even before symptoms appear. Hence, it is impossible to know whether the person we are with is infected.

- Corona virus mutates easily, which means that new variants are produced regularly. Newer variants may have newer properties like increased ability to spread.

- Man is a social animal. Corona virus exploits this behavior to spread. As long as man remains social, the virus will prevail.

- There are many such reasons, but I think these are enough to make my point clear. WE ALL ARE LIKELY TO GET INFECTED.

Once infected, there are two outcomes – RECOVERY (mild to moderate symptoms followed by recovery or severe symptoms followed by recovery by hospitalization) or DEATH. I am trying to convince you that it is possible to avoid both severe symptoms and death by taking simple measures.

COVID causes mild to moderate symptoms in most people, followed by recovery. Hospitalization is done when symptoms are severe and it is not possible to manage at home.

Estimates have showed that about 1-2% of the infected people are dying after experiencing severe form of the disease.

Analyses of the characteristics of these deaths have revealed that:

- 89% of the hospitalized (due to severe symptoms) people have been suffering from at least one disease before getting COVID. The most common were hypertension (high BP, 49.7%), obesity (48.3%), chronic lung disease (34.6%), diabetes mellitus (28.3%), and cardiovascular disease (27.8%). This means that, if your health is not already good, your chances of getting severe symptoms are high. If you have none of these preexisting conditions, you are extremely unlikely to get severe symptoms. If you have any or multiple of these conditions, start working on it immediately. Again, the best way is to adopt dietary and lifestyle changes to get rid of these conditions. All of these diseases significantly weaken the immunity, which gives the virus upper hand.

- 96% of the people dying of COVID had at least one chronic disease. On an average, dying people had at least 3 existing diseases. Data showed that among the dead people – 66% had hypertension (high BP), 30% were diabetic (type 2), 27% had heart disease, 23% had atrial fibrillation (another heart disease), and 20% had chronic renal failure. Other major factors were smoking, obesity, cancer, asthma, etc. This means that, if you don’t have any of these diseases, you are unlikely to die even after developing severe form of COVID. So, get rid of these diseases naturally.

Viruses, bacteria, fungi etc are integral components of earth. All animals and insects get infected with thousands of different organisms all the time. Weaker individuals suffer and die, stronger ones survive and flourish. Faulty diet and lifestyle weakens the immune system, thereby increasing the chances of death. A strong immune system protects from all the infections, and lifestyle disease that can develop now or in future. Hence, only way to overcome the COVID is by developing a strong immune system. If somehow, a weaker individual is saved from COVID at hospital, that individual is very likely to get infected in future with any other virus/bacteria/fungi, and die. There is no other way than to correct the weakened immunity.

As I see it, only way to overcome death due to COVID is by not developing serious form of the disease. And the only way not to develop severe form of COVID is to have strong immunity. And the only way to have strong immunity is to be free from any chronic diseases. And the only way to be free from chronic diseases is to correct the diet and lifestyle (thereby reversing these diseases). These diseases are caused solely due to continuous dietary and lifestyle errors.

And here is the list of the things to do if you have weaker immune system or any chronic diseases. As soon as these are implemented, body starts regaining immunity. Existing diseases will also resolve.
