The Constipated Genius and the Pain They Refuse to Understand

This essay exposes how migraines commonly affect “smart” people not because of their intelligence, but because of their sedentary lifestyle, constipation, and ego-driven denial of the body’s needs. Praised for their brains, they neglect movement, eat junk, suppress natural urges, and reject simple healing methods — leading to long-term gut stagnation that manifests as head pain. In contrast, average people move more, eat simple, and respond naturally to bodily signals. The migraine, then, is not a mystery of the mind — it is the body’s revolt against an overvalued brain and an ignored colon.

INTRODUCTION: THE PAIN OF PRAISE

It’s seen as a mystery.

Why do migraine headaches affect the brightest?

Why do the high scorers, the toppers, the achievers — the so-called “intelligent” — suffer intense, recurring head pain that no medicine can cure?

They call it genetic.

They call it stress.

They call it hormonal.

But no one dares to call it what it really is:

Long-term, normalized, unacknowledged, denial-ridden CONSTIPATION.

And no one dares to admit who it really afflicts:

The praised. The rewarded. The mentally overused. The physically neglected. The "smart".

This essay is not against intelligence.

It is against false pride, entitled lifestyles, and refusal to accept that the body is not a brain-carrier, but a living system.

We will compare how the smart person lives versus the so-called average person — and why the migraine attacks one, but not the other.

---

1. SMART MEANS SITTING. AVERAGE MEANS MOVING.

The Smart Person:

Sits from age 3 onwards. Preschool, school, tuitions, desk, books.

Studies for 10+ hours.

Works later in office, laptop, startup, consultancy — again seated.

Movement is considered distraction.

“Success” means less walking, more screen time.

The Average Person:

Moves from the beginning.

Helps in housework. Goes to market.

Learns through body — climbs, lifts, sweeps.

Later, joins physical work — mechanic, driver, house help, farm worker.

No one praises him for it. But his body moves. His gut moves.

Result:

The smart person becomes still.

His intestines become still.

His stool hardens.

His gases rise.

His blood becomes acidic.

His headache begins.

---

2. SMART PEOPLE INTERNALIZE PRAISE. THEY BELIEVE THEY'RE FLAWLESS.

The Smart Person:

Is told “you’re brilliant” from childhood.

Mistakes memory for intelligence.

Believes in performance over presence.

Thinks that if they are “smart,” they cannot be wrong.

They trust the mind and dismiss the body.

The Average Person:

Is told to work, to be practical.

Is not overpraised.

Learns that mistakes happen.

Doesn’t attach ego to body functions like farting, pooping, or burping.

Result:

The smart person ignores early signs:

Skipping poop for 2 days? “I’ll drink coffee.”

Feeling bloated? “I’ll keep working.”

Dry mouth? “Maybe I’m stressed.”

And when the migraine hits — they panic.

Because they never thought pain can come to the intelligent.

---

3. SMART PEOPLE EAT WITH ENTITLEMENT. AVERAGE PEOPLE EAT TO FUNCTION.

The Smart Person:

Rewards himself with processed food.

Feels that “I studied so hard, I deserve chips, cola, chocolate, pizza.”

Uses caffeine to boost work hours.

Uses sugar to numb boredom.

Eats late. Eats fast. Eats dead food.

The Average Person:

Eats what’s made at home.

Rarely gets to eat for pleasure.

Eats slowly when hungry.

Eats real food, seasonal food, whatever is available.

Result:

Smart people digest books, not food.

Their colons clog up.

Their liver overworks.

Their gut bloats.

Their neurons inflame.

The migraine explodes.

---

4. SMART PEOPLE HIDE THEIR STOOLS. AVERAGE PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THEM

The Smart Person:

Considers pooping a private, almost shameful act.

Never talks about constipation.

Hides gas, bloating, strain, bleeding piles.

Uses deodorants, perfumes, mouthwash — instead of fixing their insides.

Believes these are minor issues — not connected to head pain.

The Average Person:

Talks about digestion freely.

Uses herbal remedies.

Knows when stool is off and adjusts food.

Doesn’t feel shame in telling a neighbor, “mujhe kabz hai.”

Result:

The average person releases.

The smart person retains.

Physically. Emotionally. Neurologically.

Constipation isn't just stool stuck in the gut.

It's ego stuck in the mind.

---

5. SMART PEOPLE SEEK RELIEF, NOT HEALING

The Smart Person:

Googles “best medicine for migraine.”

Visits neurologist.

Gets brain scans, nerve tests.

Gets antidepressants.

Never asks: “Did I poop well today?”

Never fasts. Never squats. Never walks barefoot.

The Average Person:

Puts warm water bottle on stomach.

Boils ajwain.

Uses castor oil, ginger, cumin.

Takes rest.

Squats under a tree.

Listens to elders.

Result:

The smart person gets a prescription.

The average person gets a motion.

One goes back to pain.

The other returns to life.

---

6. SMART PEOPLE ARE ADDICTED TO PAIN. AVERAGE PEOPLE LET IT PASS.

The Smart Person:

Begins to identify with the pain.

“I get migraines because I think deeply.”

“I’m sensitive to light because I’m intellectually overloaded.”

Uses pain to feel special, complex, mysterious.

Feels they are too unique to be helped by basic methods.

The Average Person:

Curses the pain.

Doesn’t romanticize it.

Says “head is paining, let me rest and clean my stomach.”

Doesn’t make it part of identity.

Result:

One clings to the pain.

The other allows it to leave.

---

7. SMART PEOPLE HATE SIMPLE SOLUTIONS

They are too educated to believe that:

Castor oil on the abdomen can relieve migraine.

Drinking ajwain water helps stool.

Eating 5 fruits a day reduces pressure in the head.

Squatting and walking barefoot resets the vagus nerve.

Fasting and fiber can do more than allopathy.

They want science papers, PubMed, approval.

Until the pain humbles them.

Then they crawl back to nature.

---

8. SMART PEOPLE TREAT THE HEAD. THE AVERAGE TREATS THE STOMACH.

This is the heart of the matter.

Migraine is not a brain disorder.

It is a warning signal:

"Your gut is stuck. Your stool is toxic. Your lifestyle is insane."

The colon and the cranium are deeply connected.

Inflammation, fermentation, pressure, stagnation — all begin below, and travel upward.

The smartest move is not to read more.

It is to release.

---

CONCLUSION: YOU’RE NOT IN PAIN BECAUSE YOU’RE SMART. YOU’RE IN PAIN BECAUSE YOU REFUSED TO BE SIMPLE.

Your intelligence made you believe you're above basic needs.

You dismissed rest, movement, water, fiber, sun, squatting, chewing, silence.

You outsourced your body to pills and your pride to praise.

Now your body is screaming — not to punish you, but to bring you home.

So walk.

Squat.

Laugh.

Fast.

Release.

Simplify.

Surrender.

Because no matter how many degrees you earn,

if you can’t poop every morning —

your intelligence is full of shit.
