Shivalingappa Kalashetty, aged 69 years, from Shahabad town of Kalaburagi, is leading a post-retirement life.
Shivalingappa had worked as a Horticulture Works In Charge at a tools manufacturing factory near Shahabad.
About 12 years ago, Shivalingappa retired from the job.
Soon, He started developing Vitiligo (white patches) on his entire body. The patches spread rapidly. He underwent every type of treatment, mostly by Dermatologists from Kalaburagi.
He developed social anxiety due to white patches on arms and face.
Treatments did not work from home at all. Within the next two years, he developed severe Asthma. Dust, cold and many other common household components triggered allergies and Asthma.
Every month, 1-2 visits to the hospital were necessary for managing Asthma. He had to use the Asthma inhalers everyday.
This went on for about 10 years. By this time Vitiligo had spread all over his body and Asthma had become an everyday ordeal. I still remember his first and second visits, as he continuously had a runny nose.
Shivalingappa visited me about 2 years ago. He was looking for a cure for Vitiligo. I said, not just Vitiligo, all your health issues will be gone, including Allergies and Asthma. He could not believe as everyone, including the Scientists, Doctors and laymen have developed a belief that Asthma and Vitiligo are lifelong conditions.
He already practiced a simple diet, had no addictions and was willing to implement further improvements. He started walking and made changes in diet.

Coming to Vitiligo. Our skin has a layer of pigment called Melanin. The cells that produce Melanin pigmentation are called Melanocytes. Melanin gives colour to our skin, eyes and hairs. Melanin is continuously produced and deposited in our skin by Melanocytes. Producing Melanocytes throughout the body is a big task as our skin has a large surface area.
Due to lifestyle and dietary errors, Melanocytes also get weaker day by day. When Melanocytes get weaker or lose their optimum ability, white patches develop.
As of now, Vitiligo has reduced by over 80% on his entire body. See picture showing repigmentation on his hands. Many patches have completely repigmented, new patches are not forming, and repigmentation is happening all over the body.
Shivalingappa is extremely delighted with these developments. During his last visit he had brought along his family and had a picnic at our farm!
Shivalingappa has regained quality of social life. People with Vitiligo experience social stigma and develop social anxiety. Vitiligo develops slowly and repairs slowly. The new pigmentation looks exactly like earlier. No marks or spots are formed due to repair.
Asthma & Vitiligo are easily reversible in anyone. The duration and severity is irrelevant. Healing is guaranteed through lifestyle correction.
I consider diseases that already exist during birth as genetic diseases. Diseases that develop slowly after birth, or in adult life are mostly due to lifestyle errors. That's why most diseases developed after birth can be reversed.
