INTELLIGENT OR DUMB: FEEL IT YOURSELF

INTRODUCTION: WHEN THE WORLD SWITCHED THE LABELS

You were born wild.

You touched without asking.

You played without permission.

You ate only when hungry.

You refused to sit still.

You cried when something felt wrong.

You smiled only when it felt right.

That was intelligence — pure, raw, alive.

Then came school.

And suddenly, the world decided: you’re dumb.

Because you didn’t listen.

Because you didn’t memorize.

Because you didn’t obey.

Because you didn’t copy.

But another child — silent, obedient, memorizing everything — was called intelligent.

This is where the lie began.

This is where intelligence was killed, and obedience was crowned.

And now, decades later, the obedient are rich, employed, “successful” — but hollow.

And the dumb ones — those who never adjusted — are quietly thriving, in forests, in farms, in freedom.

So who was truly intelligent?

And who became just a smart slave?

Feel it yourself.

PART ONE: THE CHILD WHO ESCAPES

1.1 SCHOOL IS UNBEARABLE FOR THE REAL CHILD

A real child cannot tolerate schooling.

Not because the child is weak, but because the child is too alive.

She can’t sit quietly for hours.

He can’t understand why the teacher repeats things already known.

She doesn’t want to compete.

He wants to dig the soil, not fill worksheets.

So they resist.

They get labelled: restless, undisciplined, dumb.

But deep inside, they know — this is not learning.

So they find ways to survive or escape.

Some quit early.

Some drop out during college.

Some walk away from jobs they can’t bear.

But they all escape.

Because nothing inside them can keep pretending.

1.2 THEY ARE THE ONES WHO BECOME FREE

Once they’re out of the system, they start living.

Not performing — living.

They learn what they need.

They create what they want.

They fix what breaks.

They don’t chase approval.

They don’t care for degrees or awards.

These are the ones who become:

Inventors, because they don’t follow known paths.

Philosophers, because they question everything.

Farmers, because they understand nature.

Hermits, because they don’t need noise.

Artists, because they feel deeply.

Real teachers, because they learned without fear.

Real scientists, because they didn’t follow funding rules.

They were once called dumb.

But they were the only ones who saw the cage.

---

PART TWO: THE CHILD WHO OBEYED

2.1 THE OBEDIENT ONE IS CALLED “INTELLIGENT”

This child:

Memorized textbooks.

Scored marks.

Sat quietly.

Obeyed.

Got admitted.

Got promoted.

They were the perfect product.

They never cried in school, not because they were happy, but because they shut down their truth.

This child became:

Doctor who never questions pharma.

Engineer who obeys JIRA.

Government officer who follows file orders.

CEO who sells poison with a smile.

Scientist who serves the funder.

Teacher who repeats lies.

Journalist who prints what he’s told.

They were never dumb.

They were smart prisoners.

And society praised them — because they never walked out of the factory.

---

PART THREE: SOCIETY NEEDS THE LIE TO SURVIVE

3.1 IF THE “DUMB” ONE IS RIGHT, EVERYTHING COLLAPSES

Imagine this:

The dropout is healthy and peaceful.

The failed student is feeding his family from his own land.

The quiet child is writing books the world reads.

The uncompetitive girl is homeschooling her children joyfully.

The “lazy” boy is crafting things with his hands.

Now imagine:

The IIT graduate has back pain, acidity, sleep problems.

The gold medalist takes antidepressants.

The government officer is spiritually dead.

The manager cannot parent his child.

The doctor cannot heal himself.

What happens when you compare the two?

Society falls apart.

Because it sold you a lie:

Obedience is intelligence.

Success is security.

Adjusting is growing up.

And if you see through that — the system dies.

So it fights.

It keeps calling the free one “dumb.”

It keeps calling the trapped one “intelligent.”

It rewards the slave, and shames the wild.

---

PART FOUR: FEEL IT YOURSELF

Don’t believe this essay.

Feel it.

Look at the happiest people you know. Did they follow the system?

Look at the ones most enslaved. Were they the toppers, achievers, rank-holders?

Look at your own body. When were you most alive? When you were obeying, or when you were free?

Now ask:

Can the real child survive school without wounds?

Can the real adult survive the job without pain?

Can a factory call intelligence what it cannot control?

The answer is not in logic.

It’s in your gut.

And if your gut is still alive, it already knows:

The dumb child escaped.

The intelligent one stayed.

---

CLOSING: WHICH ONE ARE YOU?

You don’t have to answer with words.

Just observe:

Do you still ask questions that others stopped asking?

Do you still feel something’s wrong with this daily life?

Do you still find joy in wind, sun, silence, soil?

Do you still wish you had walked away earlier?

Then maybe… you were never dumb.

Just unfinished.

And ready now.

The escape is still possible.

You don’t need to prove anything to anyone.

Because life is not an exam.

Only a chance — to feel alive again.
