I don't see any difference between school and a prison (Jail).
Both are enforced institutions that have authoritarian structure, dress codes, orders to be obeyed, practice negative reinforcement (punishment), take away individuality, abridged freedom, one way decision making, everything is timed (eating, activity, breaks, entry, exit etc), and so on.
Schools are not healthy for children. Children belong at home.
A child has to just obey authority all the time. Children have no way to eat, talk, say, decide anything when necessary.
Come to class. Don’t be late. 5 minutes to socialize and handle your business between classes. No fighting. No this and no that. No talking when the teacher is talking in class. You have to stay in an area throughout the day. It drives the child crazy doing the same routine day by day. Much like a prison.
Look carefully and you will see that schools are designed exactly like prisons.
Just like adults, there are aggressive children too. At home, we have an option to protect sensitive children from bullies by avoiding them. But in schools, all types of children are mixed. The sensitive, introverted or decent children are commonly harassed, ragged and bullied by rogue children. Yes, there are gangsters in school. Some sell and do drugs or other stuff. If you don’t buddy up, you’re likely to be a target for bullies. Security guards and police are constantly patrolling the areas. Sounds like a prison doesn’t it?
Many school officials are very unfair and cruel to the students. There’s a lot of casteism and abuse in the system. Class expectations are high and if not met, children get punished. Teachers verbally humiliate and abuse children without consequence. Children are threatened to not disclose punishment to parents.
Schools basically enslave children to standardized education. It’s bad in the long run because one fails to learn how to be a productive citizen. Most subjects are useless when it comes to finding employment, finances, cooking, health, relationships, etc. I can say 99% of what I learnt in school was never used anywhere. So why go to school to learn such tiny information over decades with so much effort? Why not learn directly practically?
Teachers work for a salary. To complete the syllabus and make students pass and get high scores, teachers have no way but to use fear and enticement. I loathe teachers. Teachers are no god.
Schooling creates an alternative reality in the heads of children. By spending everyday, morning to evening, most days of the year, for decades, in school and colleges, a child is never exposed to the reality of the outside world. That's why you will never see a street smart educated person. That's why educated people are sissies. That's why educated people are anxious and sensitive. That's why educated people prefer indoors. That's why educated people get so many diseases. That's why educated people beg for jobs as they are programmed to work for a master (aka teacher).
Pity is, you happily send children to the prison. Because you don't have individuality yourself. You find comfort in conformity.
But what can you do? You cannot do anything. You yourself are a slave. You are in debt. You are sick. You are dependent on so many people. You don't have time to take care of yourself. You are totally busy working. If not working, you are busy worrying. You may be rich, educated, employed but you are helpless.
That's what a school is. It is just a continuation of your slavery.
As long as you believe in conformity, you are helpless. Forget about taking care of the child.
Look around, the celebrities, rich people, politicians etc are not sending children to schools. They are training children directly for making money from a very young age. Schooling trains a child to work for these children. While those children are training to become billionaires, your children are getting trained to work for them.
Child is a force of nature. Man, who is infected by thinking cannot handle the energy of the child. No man can answer simple questions a child asks like how I was born, what time, where is god, why they are rich and we are poor and so on. Schooling is designed to control the child with force.
If there is no school or job. There is no Monday, weekday, weekend, holiday etc.
I no longer experience Mondays. That's why there is no Monday for my children as well.
