45 REASONS TO QUIT WHEAT

Till today, 1482 research papers have been published on the adverse health effects of Gluten. Based on these articles, numerous health effects of consuming gluten rich foods like wheat have been proven through multiple studies.

Gluten is a protein that is found in wheat in highest concentration. Gluten is not easily digested. Many people just cannot digest gluten at all. Almost all of India population cannot digest gluten. Wheat consumption has shot up tremendously. Wheat is used in making chapatti, bread, biscuits and bakery foods. Maida is refined wheat. If you eat these foods daily or multiple times a week, you are in big trouble.

About 80% of total proteins in wheat are Gluten. Gluten is present in all species of wheat (such as common wheat, durum, spelt, khorasan, emmer and einkorn), barley, rye and some oats.

Indian cereals like jowar, raagi, bajra, millets are completely free from gluten.
